Oh thank you Lynngirl it was an awful experience and unfortunately after my first pregnancy I don't have the most confidence in doctors anyhow and he just made it worse. We are doing well, although I didn't get my ultrasound and I really really wanted to see the little bean and the heart beating...... How are you and your bean doin?

Karen I am so sorry to hear about your unfortunate run in with a not so nice Doc, believe me I know, I've worked with quite a few. Anyway keep me posted. Other than that are you and the bean doing okay?

Thank you all. I was in a complete state of frantic yesterday. Thank goodness my DS aunt (from his dads side) works within that group and she spoke to the women who actually sees pregnant women through thier pregnancies and she said she absolutely would see me and that they have a hospital (about an hour away) that they involve when a pregnancy gets high risk. She wants me to come right back in, get that ultrasound and get ahold of my records so she can read up on what exactly happened. Unfortunately I have no idea where my records are. I won't get into the messy details but there was a lawsuit following delivery, and this may be playing a role in these doctors being the way they are because we don't live in a huge area and Im sure word got around. So anyways, I may have to get them from my attorney.... I just pray everything will be positive from here on out. I felt yesterday like I was absolutely doomed. Again thank you ladies for all your kind words and encouragement THANK GOD FOR THIS BOARD!!

Karen- If you need to get a US- I'd go to the ER and complain of pain. I know it's not exactly the best plan, but you need to be proactive to make sure you get the treatment you need. Wish you luck in finding a doctor in your area that you can trust! -Traci

Karen, don't let this man get you down! How awful to be treated so rudely. Why wouldn't he do the u/s? How is your pregnancy going? You should be like 7-8 weeks right? I know you feel rotten right now, but it will be worth it to hold a sweet baby. ((HUGS))
Please hang in there. Don't let the insensitivity of one Dr. keep you away from your dream of TTC. Also, I'm sure you'll find one better than he. He's not worthy to be called a "DR." if he cares nothing of his patients. The least he could have done was make a referral.
Keep you head up & it isn't over until the MAN UPSTAIRS says so. I'm so sorry you are going thru this.
I've read & heard so much bad news today, don't know if I can stand to hear anymore.
I'll keep you in my thoughts, do what you must !! nd the rest will follow. I PROMISE !! (((hugs)))

Hi all, well I had my doctors appointment today and needless to say it went terribly. Due to my history with my 1st pregnancy my doctor basically handed me my records and pushed me out the door. I never got my ultrasound, so I didn't get to see the heartbeat. I am so uterly upset right now I can hardly function.... I will fill you in with more details maybe in the am once I calm down. I feel so discouraged, and I am wondering if I made the right choice in getting my TR. If he won't see me, I am not sure who will. He suggested a high risk doctor in our area, but he is one of two doctors who advised me to get my tubal in 2002.... I don't know where to turn.

i got my bloodwork back today. my numbers are up to 196 from 50 on last wednesday. go for more bloodwork on thursday. did the calculation says doubling time 2.5 days. at that rate, i should be ready for u/s by next thursday. thanks for all those that were concerned. just been doing a lot of praying this past week so i haven't been on the boards as much. well let you know on friday how my numbers do.
