Sorry I have been gone.. things have been so hectic with garret and the two other kids, Final Exams, Term papers due, classes ending and going on family show off trips (NC this weekend) LOL... But its ok I love it and would not change it...

Thank you for asking girls..I am feeling better but I am still having hard contractions but they are not regular. I go to the doctors Thursday so I will keep you all posted. I am 33 weeks today so IF it were to be preterm labor I'm sure Allie would be fine. A few more weeks would be nice though!

Hey everyone! I hope all the ladies and little ones are doing great. We are in the home stretch now.
I can't believe it's only two days away. It's almost unreal. I'm so excited. I went out today and got some last minute stuff - a baby monitor, the Isis manual b/pump, lotion, baby bath, a safety first kit with fingernail cutters, bulb, ect. I still want a glider but have not broken down yet...
I'm going to try to take my laptop to the hospital. I bought a new one this weekend for Mother's Day so I'm looking forward to taking some great pictures...
Hope everyone is doing well - Lori make sure you update us on how your doing! I'm thinking of everyone.

How is everyone else? I had my baby shower Saturday! It was wonderful! I got just about everything I need! I'll just have to go buy a few things but it was perfect! It was also a beautiful day. It sure did make it more real seeing all this baby stuff around me!!

Lori, it could be nothing...but if I were you I'd call to be on the safe side. With all that swelling, something else could be going on. Just call the dr and ease your mind. Even if you have to go be monitored for awhile, I think it'd be worth it!! Kelli

Hi girls. I don't want to panic, but what are the signs of early labor? I didn't sleep all night b/c I kept feeling like I needed to go to the bathroom. (I didn't go but I did go three times this morning and I get very crampy, then I go back to feeling somewhat normal)The baby did such a vigerous movement this morning that she shook the entire recliner I was sitting in. My swelling is so bad I can hardly move my feet (Not kidding) What do you all think. I am having contractions every once in a while but nothing consistant! Only like 1 or 2 an hour if that. Please post.

Juanita, when I went in last week I had white blood cells in my urine.. they said it coudl be a UTI, but did not give me meds because I was not exhibiting signs of one.. they have just been watchign me.

Shirley, GOOD NEWS! I'm happy his weight is leveled out. Wow, not much longer at all. I can't wait to start seeing pics!
Juanita, if you read just a few posts ago you'll see where I posted I also had traces of blood in my urine. They went ahead and gave me meds for a UTI just in case because I started having contractions Friday evening and they didn't stop until Saturday morning and even during the NST on Tuesday contractions were being picked up by the monitor. I also had protein in my urine and something showing signs of dehydration. I've drank and drank and drank since that appt! I had a UTI once about 5 years ago and OMG did it hurt. I don't feel like that now at all but I don't want to get like that either! Good luck!

Well ladies my little man is measuring in at an average of 5.08 lbs which is right on target for how far along I am. The doctor says that the weight will be put on between now and when he is born to just keep watching my sugar which has been fine this week and we will just keep going on track. If he gains a pound a week between now and the 38th week then he will be around 8 1/2 lbs which is what Isaiah weighed. So I guess it is all well here. I am so relieved that he wasn't already like 7 lbs. Take care all and I will check in soon!! Shirley edd 6/15/08

Hi ladies just checking in. How is everyone? Shirley I hope everthing is right on with your little man.
I had a dr. appt last thursday they said I had some blood in my urine & the nurse asked if I had any UTI symptoms I told her I never had one before so I didn't know. She said could have caused the blood,but my dr. didn't seem concern. Anyone else have blood in thier urine? I asked her if they would be any other US to check to growth of the baby,but she said as long as he is measuring correctly with the tape measure they won't be doing one. So far he has been right on. I just don't see how they can accuratly measure how big he is or how much he weights by doing it that way. I guess I just worry to much. On friday I started having some cramps & alot of pressure in my pelvic area. She said that it could be preterm labor & to lay down & drink a quart of water & if they didn't stop in an hour to come in. Luckily they stopped & haven't had any problems since. I want to see him but not this soon! Hope everyone else is taking it easy & enjoying these last few months, weeks or days (tanya ) of being pregnant.

Hello ladies, I go in tomorrow for a growth scan and bio physical profile to find out just how big my "little man" is. I will update as soon as I get a chance. I hope all is well with you all and please pray that My pumpkin is on the average size instead of the 41 weeks he was measuring 2 weeks ago. I really don't want to have a c-section but if he is that big that is what is going to happen because doc says he won't even try to deliver me natural so pray for us girls. Take care all! Kira, my goodness! I don't know how you were MIA on our list?? I'm sorry, probably my "copy and pasting" I'm not so good at computer stuff! I registered for stuff about a month or so ago and my baby shower is this Saturday. I say go ahead and do it because chances are you'll want to change things. Have fun! I loved doing it!

I told the dr about all those contractions on Friday and Saturday so they did a lab on my urine. I have a minor UTI!! They said thats probably whats caused the contractions. I also had protein in my urine and signs of dehydration. Oh my....how much longer!!!?? 5 weeks if he stays breech!! Almost done

On friday I started having some cramps & alot of pressure in my pelvic area. So I called my Dr. ofc & of course it was 4:30 on friday & no one was in, so the receptionist told me to call the hospital and speak to a nurse in the labor & delivery dept. She said that it could be preterm labor & to lay down & drink a quart of water & if they didn't stop in an hour to come in. Luckily they stopped & haven't had any problems since.
