Danelle, I think I'll try testing with an opk this afternoon. Can't hurt and I should have some still.
Yep, accidents are scary. Dd totaled her car and was given a rental car. She was on her way back to the shop with the rental when she was rearended...smashed it good. The car was brand spanking new..eeks! I felt terrible for her..and get this..the one who rearended her was her boyfriend driving her new truck...oops! He kept saying all day "I suck"..."I rearended my girlfriend"..ugh! I told them now they can laugh at it and just move on. Dd is more cautious when driving..but it hasn't stopped her..she is at a hair appt...trying to figure out a style for the military ball this month.
The board is rather quiet today...maybe I'm just too talkative..ha ha!

Berta - That is SOOO sad..made me tear up..Sounds like the family has some amazing support though. That is a lot of people at a funeral. I know the HSG scares you a ton..but maybe it would help to take some stress off of you..You at least know then what you are dealing with. YOu have had a rough road and sometimes just peace of mind can go a long way.
Heidi - Not sure if you stay above coverline if you can still be preg..but my temp did the exact same thing last month and the next day the witch arrived..They do say it will drop the day of or day before you get it. I can say though, temping sure saves a ton of money in Preg tests! With all the stress you have had this month, I would use an O stick to see if maybe you are detecting an LH surge..that temp jump just seems to big to not be something!! SOrry about DD, boy accidents are just so scary. My cousin is much younger than I and just got her license a year ago and had 4 accidents this winter cuz of snow..she is a bit freaked of driving now...poor things! Hoping you enjoy some stress free time though girl, you sure deserve it!

Berta & Danelle, I don't know what to think about the chart. When I went away, I was going to attempt to keep temping and that didn't work out..figured it was late enough in the cycle to not really have to worry about it. I have not used the opks since early on. I'm thinking either I didn't O or Oing late. This has been a stressful month...3 deaths, dd in two accidents (yes, another this week) and before those, dd injured her knee..not to mention just the normal stuff..ha ha! So, we'll see. I'm going to keep temping just to see what happens. Leave it to me to be confusing...ha ha
Berta, Good you tested when you saw the spotting. Better safe!
Danelle, You are still above the coverline, so isn't there still a chance to get your positive?
I had this really vivid dream last night...one of those where you wake up and don't feel quite right...I was 9 months pregnant and in labor checking in the hospital...I've had dreams before, but this one was weird!~ Freaked me out kinda! Maybe I shouldn't eat dinner so late at night..ha ha!
Just a quick one and if I forget anyone....I'm sorry.
Donna...glad you were able to talk to the doctor and get some answers. GL w/IVF consult!
Heidi....looking at your chart...wow! LOL. Either late O is gonna happen, or FF didn't pick it up etc.....or HPT is not picking it up yet... that is a huge temp jump..... any signs of af besides the spotting earlier??? Alot of if's there huh?
Danelle....sorry about AF seeming to approach... remember though there are ladies who had the hsg and took a couple of months after to get the bfp!! You'll get it!!
Leo...thanks for the info...I had seen that a long time ago....and I have always been one of those moms that NEVER let my little ones play in any of that stuff. Always gave me the hebby gebbies... some of those places you rarely get a clean table...so my assumption always was...if the tables arent clean....ummmmmm. Have any of you ever looked underneath the table tops at those places???? Gum, boogers..you name it. Gross! lol.
Tandi...GL with getting offer/selling house!
Well on my end....DH would like for me to do HSG...ugh! We'll see.
Funeral was just heart - wrenching. Seeing Ron/dad telling the kids at the chapel, mommie has to stay here, she is in heaven now. We have to leave, we'll be back soon. OMG....is all i can say. Just terrible.. the kids are actually 3 and 6. The mom, actually had a seizure that caused an blood vessel burst in her brain, the autopsy findings said it was instant, so she didn't really feel anything I guess. I dunno about that...seems to me you'd feel a seizure...anyhows...sad regardless....I have never seen that many cars in the procession EVER. There had to be at least 100.....
anyhows....not feeling so great today. After AF left, I started spotting again....so paranoid me, POAS and it was neg...THANK goodness!!! whew!! NOt sure what that is all about...but oh well....huh?

Donna - I am glad you can find at least a bit of comfort in the support here. I cannot imagine what you are going through right now, justhave to remember it isn't over; you still have a chance to get your little miracle. Sometimes the paths we have to take are covered in obsticles, and that just makes us apprecaite the little things even more. My thoughts are with you and I am cheering for ya from WI that IVF is going to be just what you need!! Hear to listen whenever you need/want to talk!
Heidi - wow that is quite a temp jump. Have you tried to use an O predictor stick lately? Chance that maybe you are in for a long cycle and just O'ing really super late? Be interesting to see what tomorrows temp is.
As for me, no need to test. I am on day 12 of my LP which is how long mine are. My temp dropped this morning and I have cramps..so the wicked witch is on her way. I am bummed but I still have hope that we will get our sticky bean and be due in spring/summer months. WI weather is icky so I would really LOVE to have a baby in April - Oct months...but honestly it wouldn't matter one bit one way or another what month...it is just what I tell myself to stay positive and not lose hope
Berta - thinking of you...hope to see you pop in soon.
Danelle, So are you going to test this morning? I didn't temp while away and since have taken a few...my temp was the highest ever this morning....still no AF. This limbo thing is annoying. At least I have a lot to keep me busy.
Berta, Thinking of you.
Kari, You are right...keep hoping..gotta have faith. I'm glad you post on the board...we can all keep each other going. This ride has a lot of ups and downs. Hugs
Tandi, I hope you get a contract on your house soon. Sure is a hard time to sell..thats great that despite the market, you have showings....a good sign!
Leo, That information is chilling. I've heard of things similar to that happening and haven't allowed my children to play in the balls in a long time..years! I've noticed a lot of places have done away with them. Are you still in limbo too? This waiting game is not a fun game!

Donna- I am so sorry about your experience. I never cease to be shocked at the way some doctors and nurses behave toward patients, it is darn near criminal. I really hope that IVF will be successful for you.
I have a cousin who did IVF twice, she went to a very good clinic in TX. She got pregnant both times, the first time with 1 and the second time she did it got pregnant with twins. I hope it all goes well for you.
Danelle- I hope you had an enjoyable anniversary.
I saw the acupuncturist yesterday. She will be on vacation in Spain for three weeks so that was my last treatment for awhile. But I have one months worth of herbs to take though. I did have some cramping on my left side yesterday, I don't know what that was about.
House hasn't sold yet, but, we had two showings Sat. 1 on mon. and 2 yesterday so I think it's really close. The people yesterday really loved it so we'll see.

That is just so scary, these palces make so much money that you would think the least they could do is keep the stuff clean and more important SAFE

OMG Leo that seriously gave me chills! How awful!! I have not seen that before. Can be darn sure though that any child I have in the future will never play in a ball bit! I pasted it into an email and sent to all my friends with little ones. Thanks!
This was fowarded to me by one of my girlfriends, I found it to be so shocking that I had to post on here for all of us that have little kids.
EVERYONE needs to read this!!!! Body: McDonalds, Chuck E Cheese, Discovery Zone... All places with ball pits in the children's play area. One of my sons lost his watch, and was very upset. We dug and dug in those balls, trying to find his Watch. Instead, we found vomit, food, feces, and other stuff I do not want to discuss. I went to the manager and raised hell. Come to find out, the ball pit is only cleaned out once a month. I have doubts that it is even done that often. My kids will never play in another ball pit. Some of you might not be parents, but you may have nieces, nephews, grandchildren, or friends with children. This will pertain to you too. As I read the following, my heart sank. I urge each and every one of you to pass this on to as many people as you can. I cannot stress how important this is! Hi. My name is Lauren Archer, my son Kevin and I lived in Midland , TN. On October 2nd, 1999 I took my only son to McDonald's for his 3rd birthday. After he finished lunch, I allowed him to play in the ball pit. When he started whining later on, I asked him what was wrong, he pointed to the back of his pull-up and simply said "Mommy, it hurts. " I couldn't find anything wrong with him at that time. I bathed him when we got home, and it was at that point when I found a welt on his left buttock. Upon investigating, it seemed as if there was something like a splinter under the welt. I made an appointment to see the doctor the next day, but soon he started vomiting and shaking, then his eyes rolled back into his head. From there, we went to the emergency room. He died later that night. It turned out that the welt on his buttock was the tip of a hypodermic needle that had broken off inside. The autopsy revealed that Kevin had died from a heroine overdose. The next week, the police removed the balls from the ballpit. There was rotten food, several hypodermic needles: some full, some used; knives, half-eaten candy, diapers, feces, and the stench of urine.
You can find the article on Kevin Archer in the October 10,1999 issue of the Midland Chronicle.
Don't think it's just McDonald's either.
A little boy had been playing in a ball pit @ a Burger King & started complaining of his legs hurting. He later died too.
He was found to have snake bites all over his legs & buttocks. When they cleaned the ball pit they
found that there was a copperhead's nest in the ball pit.
There was rotten food, several hypodermic needles: some full, some used; knives, half-eaten candy, diapers, feces, and the stench of urine. He had suffered numerous bites from a very poisonous snake.
Repost this if it scares the **** out of you!! Repost this if you care about kids!! Please forward this to all loving mothers, fathers and anyone who loves and cares for children!! What has this world come to?? If a child is not safe in a child's play area then where??
AND FYI:
In Florida and other places on the East Coast a group of people are putting HIV/AIDS infected and filled needles underneath gas pump handles, so when someone reaches to pick it up and put gas in their car, they get stabbed with it.
16 people have been a victim of this crime so far and 10 tested HIV positive.
Instead of posting that stupid **** about how your love life will suck for years to come if you don't re-post, post this.
It's important to inform people, even if you don't drive, a family member might, and what if they were next?

Lisa D. – How very sweet of you to post that information and you are NOT butting in. We have an open door policy….feel free to drop in anytime!!
Ellen – Thanks. We had a nice anniversary, didn’t get any lovin though we were both just too darn dead tired..funny how sleep just wins over everything sometimes..lol
Nicole – OOOOH good luck POAS!!! The month I tested and got a positive I was just testing ‘in case’ cuz DH bought that flip house and there was mold..to my surprise..lol…Hoping you get a nice surprise as well!! Keep us posted. Hope your pain gets better too..ouchy!!!
Donna – I am so glad you were able to talk to the Dr. It really surprised me how insensitive some of the medical profession can be. My mom is a nurse and would NEVER talk to anyone like that, very unprofessional! Wow girl you started at 10!! I was 13.5 and was so immature when I got it, I didn’t want it and cried for weeks..lol oh I was such a drama queen Anyway…I know IVF is a lot of money, but if you are seriously on a time crunch, and there is even a portion of a refund…go for it. I know finances can be really hard on a relationship, but you and DH do seem to have a great relationship and open communication. With love and great communication you will be able to overcome any obstacle. Good luck to you, and you keep us posted every step of the way as we will be here rooting you on (Nothing like your own personal cheerleading squad..lol) and praying this works for you!!
Heidi – Boy this must just be limbo month! You and poor Leo! I sure hope something gives for both of you and you break free from limbo land VERY soon! We all know how much waiting sucks…I don’t think we can ever get used to waiting in any stage. I sure can’t I know I am so impatient..lol Glad to see you check in
Well for me, temp went up a little bit from 98.01 to 98.19, I should get my period tomorrow based on a 12 day LP. I have had sore bbs since I O’d which only happens on the months we weren’t successful..bummer…I am SUPER tired too, so I think on my day off on Friday I am going to go get my blood drawn. When I get really tired all the time it is usually a sign that my thyroid is off once again. You know I read so many other ladies just get their thyroid in check and never think about it again and for me it just seems like a constant struggle to maintain normal levels. I am actually on a med that no one really takes because I didn’t seem to react like I should to the normal meds people use. In fact, in a town of 65,000 people, I am the only one to take this drug (been to all the pharmacies in town..lol and they all say oh we don’t carry that one, we’ll have to order it.)…Anyway, I am rambling, but it sucks cuz if my thyroid levels don’t stay at a normal level, it becomes very hard if not impossible to get pregnant. Oh well what can you do..just have to keep monitoring myself very closely to get our little miracle.
Hope everyone has a great day!! It’s rainy and gloomy here today.
