Babydean - w/ my first u/s I saw the EXACT same thing as you. My doc said it was too early to tell if either sacs would be viable, because both were still empty. But one was clearly not round like the other. I went back one week later and the round sac had grown and had a heartbeat. The odd sized sac had actually shrunk a little in that one week. I hope you see the same thing next week!

babydean the same thing happened with me. you will see a gest. sac first (with nothing in it) than you will see the yolk sac, which i saw one week later. I hope your lil one shows up next u/s.

Babydean, How far along are you? when I had my 1st u/s that was all you could see was an empty sac. My hcg was over 10,000 and the dr. said that you should see something with numbers that high.But I wasn't that many wks only 5. Me & dh were so upset. but after posting about my ordeal sisters chimed in and gave me hope. And I went as you know for my 2nd u/s and there was my lil bean. I pray that you are just early and when you have your 2nd u/s you will have good results.Praying for you lil bean to show up! Best of Luck. God Bless Michelle

i did see the sac it was small but there, however they was something else my dr. said it was what they call a blighten ovum,the sac didn't form right or i would have had twins,,at this point i just want a healthy happy pregnancy with the one god allowed for me to keep, i go again next week for another u/s to see if they can see anything other than the sac,
