Good Morning! I hope your week is off to a great start. AF is just about on her way out the door I believe...whoo hoo!
Tandi, Thanks! Nothing worse than long cycles and being in limbo. Wonderful news that your cycles are getting shorter now! Yay!
Nicole, So sorry you are going through a lot of drama with family. Sounds like your dh is very supportive which is awesome! You'll have to keep us updated on your IUI journey!
Berta, Hope you are feeling better. There seems to be a lot going around...what a time to be sick...just when the nicer weather is approaching.
Ellen, I hope you feel better as well.
danelle, Thanks! Feels good to be getting back on track. I'm hoping to chart a "normal" month. I'm just going with the flow this month. I'll temp and probably use opks and just bd whenever..I don't want to stress over it. I just want to enjoy life and the relationship dh and I have and if a baby is in our future, it will happen. Way to go on the yard sale! You made a nice chunk of change!!!
Kari, How exciting!!! You are in the home stretch of the 2WW!!!

Thank you for all of your well wishes. Berta- I really hope you are feeling better, and I agree with you. I know you're not being negative at all. I share your opinion. They are jerks. I actually told my sister-in-law not to be surprised when I am showing and we have not told anyone because I do not want the family to know if I am PG right away after the way I was treated. I know this will get out, and I'm almost counting on it. I want them to know in a nice way that they can not treat me like dirt over having a baby. This will probably fall on my DH ears, and he's ready for it. He's waiting for someone to say something to him and it's going to be all over. I'm glad that he is supportive and always has been. At least I am lucky that he genuinley cares.
Kari- Oh I hope that we both get BFP's. Baby dust to all my friends.

You're very welcome, Renee. I think I was a bit unclear - I was going to temp to detect ovulate then my being sick threw that completely out the window. But, I had resolved to not temp through the luteal phase...not that my explanation makes any difference. I just didn't want anyone to think I was bashing temping as I have thought it was the most useful of all the TTC exercises.

thanks ellen, that is exactly the sort of simplified version i needed. i was quite certain i could scour the FF website to find the answer but it would have been long and drawn out. AF usually shows up in the middle of the night for me so we shall see what the night brings...

Renee - If pregnant, your temp stays elevated or continues to rise. If AF is showing up, temps go down...mine usually go down simulataneous with AF showing up...so my temps can be sort of exciting as they look "really good" then we're grabbing for the tampax This part of temping is why I've given it up for this month...it can be very misleading if you try to read into it...sure, there are definite things it can tell you, but it's definitely not as clear a line as the whole "thermal shift" concept. Did I help?
Nicole - Good luck. Thanks for sharing interesting news. Look forward to hearing all about your experience.
Kari - FINGERS ARE STILL CROSSED
Everyone else - I've been reading when I get a chance, just nothing to report. I, like Berta, was quite ill the tail end of last week and then had a busy family weekend. With everything going on, I'm just really having to focus more on my kids (that sounds funny - they're requiring a bit more attention than usual). But, I'm around and thinking about everyone

being a late bloomer when it comes to this temping thing I have another question. As the end of the luteal phase approaches what does the chart "do" if I am pregnant or if AF is coming? I didn't play around with FF when I still had the free VIP status...that's my excuse for not knowing.

Heidi- Yay, you are now out of limbo! On to more TTC.
Nicole- Good luck with the IUI! Lots of baby dust to you!
Berta- How are you doing? I hope you get feeling better real soon.
Kari- I've got my fingers crossed, I hope your IUI gives you your sticky bean.
Danelle- you need to have a good rest after your rummage sale. That's awesome that you made some money to take a trip though! I hope you had a more relaxing day after the rummage sale.
Well, I think AF is on her way, which is a happy thing!! Yesterday I was spotting, today a string of blood this morning (sorry if TMI) but I was excited. That means cycles are getting shorter!
I will keep you updated, AF is usually light if no 'O' so it's hard to tell between AF and spotting sometimes but I'll check back later and let you know if you need to put me at CD1 again.

Kim – Thanks for the information. I am on thyrolar which is actual hormone and not synthetic. I have tried to take all the synthetic ones and my body just did not respond…gotta love the obstacles, but I will make sure to watch month to month so I get the same pills and nothing generic. Thanks again. It would be great to have you post more..we are a great supportive bunch! Best wishes and tons of baby dust!
Sharon – Sorry the witch found you….stay positive we can only go so long on our board without some good news!
Heidi – YAY!! Back in the game and out of limbo land!!! Sorry it didn’t result in a BFP, but hey you are at least back in it! Good luck this month!
Nicole – Thank you for helping out with the list. I had that rummage sale all weekend and didn’t even get in all weekend till it was late and by that time I had no energy to turn on a computer….As for the IUI…good luck! I don’t think anyone can understand just how hard this process is unless you live through it. People sometimes speak really without thinking and it shows their ignorance to the whole process. My DH does not have any children of his own either, and I know the desire to give him that precious little miracle. Don’t take their comments to heart, it will only stress you out and you certainly don’t need that. It will happen for us all, it is just a matter of time. I am really excited to hear how this goes for you though. Maybe between you and Kari we will get our board jumpstarted and on the path to TONS of BFPs!!! Keep us posted.
Berta – How are you feeling? Did you go to the ER? Did they tell you what you have? My DS doctor ended up calling me Friday after work hours and said he looked at his chest xray again and he was sorry he missed it earlier in the week, but turns out he does have pneumonia….so glad he called and he is now on antibiotics. I know how careful you are to make sure you get checked out for everything though. Hope you are feeling better.
Kari – So you are 9 days past insemination? Do they give you a day they recommend you testing on? I had tons of creamy cervical fluid the month I got my BFP..Hoping that is a good sign for you! Keep us posted!! I’m so excited to hear some good news!!
Leo – any change in you? You have a dr. appointment tomorrow?
Well back to normal routine again…which is good, I’m wiped out after this weekend. Rummage sale went great though. Made $475 so we have some spending money for our vacation we are taking June 14th-21st! Feels good to just get rid of stuff! Other than that nothing new with me..just waiting to O!

Hi there Nicole I went through IUI last saturday. It wasnt as bad as I thought. I did take the clomid 50mg, did menopur shots and hcg shot. I took clomid days 4-8 and shots 9-11 and trigger day 12 and insemination day 14. I did not have any side effects with any, and hoping you do not either. Well i did have some hot flashes but thats all. As for my follicles I had one big and one medium, well know next week if i start my cycle. Don't really feel anything different except more cramps on my right side and since IUI more cervical fluid like creamy and sticky (TMI) sorry thats all. Well im wishing you good luck on your journey you never know might help us out..Berta sorry that you are real sick did they say what was wrong with you? Check back in later goot ago make potato salad..Kari
Nicole... Gl on the IUI...Kari had it done just recently..... Vent away...however I'm going to put my two cents in.... On the rudeness of others towards YOU.. did you remind them....That it was your DH's choice NOT to have children BEFORE? You must NOT let those less classy thatn you put ANY of the blame upon you. You have your children when you CHOSE to, and thought YOU were done....it really is luck to EVEN have the opportunity to get PG again..... I think those not directly involved in your decisions need to be told to hush. I posted my 'realization' a few days ago after seeing my doctor.... It is not OUR fault DH's do have a child. Period. We all WANT one however.... gotta keep perspective and not lose how we got here....etc etc.... choices.
Ladies, I'll have to catch up later in a couple days. Been real sick...but after catching Nicoles post...had to respond.
Not being negative...being realistic at the facts and the road that got us to 'here'.
