Thanks Traci- Yep not too much longer and the 3rd tri will be here.. I think the summer will go fast for me with the few things we do have planned and then the kids start school Aug 22 and then I can have the baby (lol)
SO how is everyone feeling??? I think we may have lost some of our Dec girls to the Dec/Jan thread unless they are posting on both?
If you know your ultra sounds dates post them and then tell us again when you find out what your having... I think there are a few that are with me and not finding out Nice to have company!!!!! no one in my family thought I would make it or go through with it but all my ultra sounds a done and I made it this far...
Is the morning sickness getting less for those of you with it???
Are the bellys growing??? Are you convinced your pregnant yet??? It's still weired to think OMGosh- look at the size of my belly-- there is a baby in there and were going to have another one running around here!!!!

hey! where is everyone at? maybe you are all resting from the weekend. we did alot of work in the yard so i am now suffering from a bad sunburn.(it's a farmers tan!)didn't sleep much last night because it hurt to let my neck hit the pillow. anyway , hope everyone is doing good. jamie

hey ladies! I hope you all are doing well and starting to feel better now that we are starting our 2nd trimester. my morning/evening sickness is starting to be much better. i went for an u/s today. it was actually to check my ovaries, i keep getting cysts. they weren't even going to let me see the baby. when i went into the imaging center she said that i couldn't see anything and they couldn't tell me anything. can you believe they didn't want to let me see my own baby! the tech couldn't get a good view of my left ovary so she had another tech come in and she let me see my baby, she even tried to see if she could tell what it was, but the legs were firmly closed. it was in there yanking away on it's cord, it's funny to see them in there moving around. i'm glad i actually got to see the little one.

Thanks all for the info and advice. Traci, its funny you mentioned the cat stretches because I did that finally yesterday evening when I couldn't take it anymore and it did work. I have been doing the periodically today because I have been at my desk alot and it has really helped.

Hey Jen- yah, I've got the back pain thing going on too. My only relief comes from doing cat stretches. (I'm not really sure what they're called, but that's what I call them!) Where you are on all fours and arch your back, and hold it for 10 seconds, then relax and flex your back in the opposite direction and hold for 10 seconds. Additionally, in order to try to prevent the back pain, or at least lessen it's strength, I try to change positions frequently. So if sitting a lot, I'll get up and stretch and walk around. If on my feet a lot- the only thing that helps is to lie down briefly for a few minutes, and then do those stretches before resuming activity. (Easier said than done when you're at work!) HTH! -Traci

Becki, NO nothing sounds good at all!! Im a picky eater and the few things I could eat before make me wanna throw up!! I can't even look at any type of meat anymore..... dairy is out eggs and milk are my enemy lol. Just nothing tastes good, and if it does I can only get a few bites in and than it just sits in my throat and I literally can't take another bite. If I find something I can tolerate eating.... after eating it just that once its like my body says no more. I gag almost everything down. I was able to eat a piece of toast last night haha. My doctor suggested the same thing, every few hours try just to nibble and get something in my system. She did say though that fluids are more important right now and to make sure Im drinking plenty of water. Isn't it awful!! I am still hoping this is all signs that its a girl only because it is totally different than when I was pregnant with my DS. I was trying to remember how it goes with the heart rate (it was 162 the other day) I have this feeling its a boy, but that might be me trying to protect myself from being disappointed if its not a girl. I have come up with great names for both, and I will be thrilled either way yea know.... gimmie a healthy baby boy or girl.... my DH just keeps saying we are only having one so I feel like this is my one last chance to get that girl I want. So I know how you feel..... you want one but would be happy with either. I am holding myself back from buying anything.

Jen, I only have lower back pain when I lie down, so sorry, can't help you there.
Krys, sounds like you have a great DH just like I do. He has always treated the kids like his own.
Becki, my grandparents had 13 kids. All were girls but two. Grandad took a lot of ribbing because of that fact, and his reply was, "It takes more of a man to knock their b*lls off." LOL

Karen- I am SO happy the medicine is making you feel better and the headaches too... Now we need to get some food in you!!!!! Nothing sounds good at all???? Ice cream, strawberries , fruit umm chick fl ia was ALL I wanted (lol) that and turkey sandwiches -- I still can't eat sweets or I get sick... It maybe a little girl.. Is that what you think it is??? or hoping for (lol) I would LOVE a little boy but I think after getting my heart set for a little girl and all the little girl clothes and stuff I think I would be a little sad but woudl still be thrilled as would my DH and DS.... Maybe try and eat just a little bit of something every two hours... man my family only wishes i wasn't hungry... I am always thnking about food (lol) Lots of Love, Becki

Becki, I can tell a difference already. The medicine for my headaches is a MIRACLE and the other medicine is helping with feeling sick all the time but I still can't eat. I will feel hungry sometimes but eating... forget about it!
I am prayinggggggggg this is a girl, its been a long time but I do remember with my DS (9) I never felt sick so maybe thats a good sign
I had those spasms with my last PG- The baby was on a nerve and they started early on too.. You may want to mention it to your DR and see what she thinks and suggests.. After the baby was born I was fine! BUT every once in while I will get pain where I have had my epidurals in my back I hope it gets better for ya!!! I've already started having braxton hicks -- I thought that was WAY early but I mention it to the ultra sound tech Dr and he said nope that is normal and this is my fifth so he expects it.... UMMM I don't! (lol)
Krys- That is sweet about your DH and your kids.. I think that makes a HUGE difference in their lifes too.. more secure and knowing where they belong... You have a little one still (1 1/2) so this baby will have somebody. My youngest will be almost 8 so I think one more so they have a play mate ~ ya know!!! Your lucky because you think and feel its a boy - This is my fifth with the same guy and our chances seem slim for a boy-- I think he can only make girls (lol) the first one we got that boy and his brother had a girl..... My DH told his brother he didn't know how to do it right and of course he did because we got the boy.... WE went on to have three girls in a row and they went on to have three boys in a row after that... I think my DH cursed us (lol) only lil girls for us I've only dreamt of a little girl for the last 5 years and even now being PG I dream of her. I have had two dreams of a little boy but mostly this one little girl -- SO I am going with girl -- and I am totally cool with that .. It taken me a while to except it but now I am great with it...

Becki, That's so funny. I have three girls and one boy, too! They kept telling me my youngest girl was a boy until I delivered! My kids are hoping for another boy at this point. I kinda think it's a boy--same symptoms as my son's pregnancy. I've had no morning sickness whatsoever. With the girls I was always sick--through the whole pregnancy. Even with my last girl, and that's why I sometimes doubted that she was a boy. I think that's sooo funny! I think this is definately my last one, though. My kids are: DD almost 15 DS almost 13 DD 10 1/2 DD 1 1/2 The three older ones are from a previous marriage, and the younger one is technically my husband's first. Not if you ask him, though. He's been around since my 10 1/2 year old was my youngest's age now. He's all they really know as a dad, and if you say step-children/step-father, they all get really upset. He's Dad, and they are his kids. End of story as they put it. Honestly, they even kind of look like him. So, I guess we'll see what we're all having soon! It seems like it's going by so fast! I'm more than half-way through. It's amazing! Lots of love to all, Krys
