Hey ladies, Just wondering if any of you have experienced any back pain. I am having these weird,I don't know if you would call them spasm or what, kind of back pains that are more like someone squeezing my muscles back there. If you have, what have you used to help it ease up. Other than that, things have been great here. Only a week from tomorrow and we will hopefully know if we are having a boy or a girl. I know I didn't want to know at first, and if DH was on board with that it would be kind of cool, but now that I know we are finding out I am excited to know.
This is your 5th yoo? What do you already have??? I have one son and THREE girls and I think this one is also a girl-- making four girls-- My poor son!!! (lol) How many more do you two want?? I think we will try for just one more... I'm 35 and the stress of TTC and then getting PG and worrying if it was in the right place and worrying of M/C --- uhhhgggg
Karen - I hope the medicine works for you and also for those headaches!!!! I hate those things!!! I hope the smells get better- Poor DS (lol)
Anita- June huh- That isn't that far away and I'll just live through you and your ultra sound I don't know why but this one is different- I HAD to know with the other four and going through all of this and being PG again... I just want to enjoy it and what and see what we have the day it comes... I know it soudns totally crazy-- I agree with you (lol)

Lynn, my doctor gave me that same medication today. She also gave me something for my headaches and a few other scripts..... they are still being filled I will let ya know what my new cocktail is haha.

Hey Lynn I am doing pretty good. Im really tired and I still can't eat...... the smell of everything makes me sick. My DS smells like spoiled milk to me, and well I won't go on but yea Im good and I am icky at the sametime lol. I see my doctor today. How are you doing?? better since you got that medicine?

Hello Ladies, hey Karen how are you honey? feeling okay Becki this is my 5th child also, and I think my husband is more excited this time then with the other four, strange huh? He makes a joke saying that we have alot of work to do so we can catch up to the Duggar's. hee, hee. Hope everyone is doing great with their beans.

Krys, is there another US tech? If so, I think I'd request him or her for next time. Your names are great. It's nice to be able to honor your bil. I'm sure your child will feel honored alos, when he or she grows up.
Traci, don't you hate getting up in front of a group?? I do.
Becki, I don't see how you're holding out. I am dying to know. I can't wait til my US in June.
Britt, don't worry, I read yesterday that our brain cells are shrinking, nut not disappearing, so once we have the babies, we'll be back to normal. Unless, like me, you were never normal in the first place.
This is my DH's fisrt child also. I bought him a book that explains everything he can expect me to go through, and how he can handle it. It also addresses the things that are going through his head. I bought it because he's not real open with his feelings, and I thought it would help him to understand both me and his own issues a little better. I'm reading it too. It's organized by month, and it's pretty much right about everything I've been feeling, and has given me a little insight too. I can't remember the title right off the top of my head, but if any one is interested, I'll go get it.

OMGosh Jamie I do remember you!!! That is SO funny!!!! Athena (DH in Iraq) just had garrett last month Jeannie- (GA girl) is having Claire this month! Moncia- I haven't ever heard but I haven't seen her date in the PG report.. Then me -- I'm due in sept... I was probably the one that kept talking and talking while you were there (lol) --- SEe you should of just came on our TR date -- you know us all!!!
Karen- you are a young thing (lol) I hope your new dr is great and wonderful!!!! DOn't owrry baout DH he'll learn real quick Im so tried and moody too and when something sounds good to eat that is ALL i want.. this being my 5th he now just gives in and doesn't fight anymore (lol) But it has taken me 4 kids to get to this point with him (giggle giggle) I can't wait until he feels the baby for the first time with you.... He is going to be SO happy and then in the labor room I hope he cries!!! Mine doesn't but I think it is so sweet when they do... I guess if I hit him hard enough he may cry this time (J/K)

becki hey this is my 3rd. dd is 16, ds is 8,it seems my body is on some kind of 8 year clock. i met you at dr. bergers office . i think it was 03-08-08? i was getting my lab work done , you and the three other ladies were there meeting dr. berger.how are the other 3 doing? i think 1 had a husband in iraq & the other 2 were from GA. its funny that i met ya'll but didn't see anyone on the day i went for my tr. jamie

Becki, I am 27 and no I don't mind you asking LOL. I am not sure if you caught my story on the trouble I had with my previous doctor, but today I see my new doctor. Unless she would like to do one sooner, I probably won't have another one until 18-20 weeks!!! I have had so many in the past few weeks that wait is going to feel like FOREVER!! I do feel much better after yesterdays tho, I still get some pain and cramping so at least I won't worry so much now!! And yes my DH is in for a lot of treats haha but I think he is wondering what he has gotten himself into lately.... I haven't been the most pleasant to be around I am so tired and moody Im trying to tell him that hopefully will get better in a few weeks when I enter my 2nd trimester Karen

Krys- I cannot believe they would even give you the same tech!!!! I think I would have asked for another one- anyone but her!!! I guess your baby is with my baby in the thoughts of making you just wait it out (lol) I love the names you have choosen!!!! SOrry to hear about your BIL - what a great way to remember him and honor his name!!!!
Karen- So when is your next ultra sound? What is your age (if you don't mind me asking?) once you reach "maternal age" which is 35 then you get a lot more ultra sounds to see your lil bean... It all seems like a dream doesn't it? Going through this journey and expereincing all we have and then to have that dream come true and to have this little one growing inside of you.... Your DH is in for a treat!!! Wait until your belly starts popping out
Traci- how are you doing??? SO you have an ultra sound coming up here soon too... The techs are or at least mine have been great! I think the one I had yesterday was the least friendly. She asked me if I knew what I was having, I told her no and then that I wasn't going to find out... Then I asked WHY DO YOU KNOW? She said it didn't matter but then I think with my facial expression she said I was never given the chance to peek because the legs were always together.. I still think its a girl- I would say I am 90% sure My DH wants to know and so do all my kids ... BUT I just keep picturing my DH recording the kids coming into the room once its born to see what we had and by then seeing this little baby they will love what ever it is... I just want to record their expressions when they first see and meet the baby.. That is why I am not finding out (lol) SO any thought as to what you think it is??? I want to see if you right (lol)
AS you girls find out when your ultra sounds are let us know so we can add it by your name-- Hopefully the morning sickness is just about over for everyone and the flutters are starting to begin.. Then comes the fun part-- all the moving (the baby) and the shopping and getting ready for this little miracle.... I just really have to make it through the summer- school starts here Aug 22- (get the kids back in school) and then I will have two weeks before the baby is due.... I think July will be my longest month because I don't have anything planned but being a beached whale at the beach (lol)

Krys- sorry you didn't get to find the gender again- but you're right healthy is the only important thing! Isn't it funny how different docs treat the same things differently? I've had gestational diabetes for 3 out of 4 pregnancies, and my fasting blood sugar was 97, but they aren't treating me for it yet- not even a modified diet. I'm also measuring about 6 weeks ahead now, but doc isn't worried about that either.
Becki- glad your US went well and it's just as well that the tech couldn't determine gender- I'd be worried about the tech blurting it out! I'm sure I'll say this again when it's closer, but good luck on passing the 1 hour- yuck that test is nasty!
Karen- congrats on seeing the hb! It's just the best feeling in the world, and the chance of miscarriage goes down remarkably after that, so it's a huge relief too- I know I cried when I saw beanie's hb! Have a great week everyone! Whew- I just finished a literacy class and had to give a big presentation about how I'd teach chordate evolution- this to a class full of non-science geeks! lol So glad it's over! -Traci
Becki it was so amazing, I was the same way.... while she was looking I couldn't stand it I was going insane.... than she showed me and I felt much much better. My DH was so quiet haha this is his 1st so I think he was in shock. I did get 3 pictures, they aren't as clear as when we were looking on the screen I guess the lil bugger wouldn't sit still but you can tell which end is the head (which is as big as the rest of the lil body lol)
