Hey everyone I had an ultrasound today YAY!!! We saw our little bean it was so exciting. Due date according to the u/s says 12/15 but according to cycle and when I ovulated I think that is off a little bit. Anyways, we saw the heartbeat too it was so awesome. The rate was 162. Hope everyone else is doing well Karen.

janet, with the lap, they are just going to look, correct? are you doing anything in addition to the lap, like hypotubation or recannorization (sp?)? if the lap is expensive and is only going to tell you whether they are open or not, maybe look into other procedures that help to open the tube like the ones mentioned. did they give you reason as to why the ivf did not work? i have been looking into it as a proactive. how expensive was it?

Janet, I guess I would consider my age, and if the lap. surgery is cheaped than I would do that vrs. IVF, only because if you are whole again, you can keep trying every month, not just one round or two rounds of IVF. Good luck on your decision, I know its not easy.

Hi everyone, I am looking for some advise. First, it's been 16 months since my TR and no BFP. My OB did my HSG and told me that both tubes were blocked, I sent results to DR B and he said inconclusive and I should have it re-done. Well I would love to but my insurance wont cover a 2nd time. So my OB is suggesting laproscopic surgery. I told myself that I would just stop trying and forget about it but my brain just wont let that happen. Maybe I am just being a baby but the thought of another surgery just to be let down again is really bothering me. On the other hand IVF is soo expensive and mentally draining(had 2 rounds before TR). I know this is a personal decision but I was just looking for a little help.
Any comments suggestions..anything at all would be appreciated.

jcis4me... I bought FertilAid and the smell made me make a funny face... smells bad to me. I tried it for a few days, but could not keep doing it. I too bought it to help w/ my CM... so... You noticed a change? That's great! How long did you take it before you noticed the CM change?

Thanks for getting me back on the list! This month I started taking FertilAid and it's really increased my CM and my overall mood has leveled out...hopefully it'll help with a BFP! I hope everyone is doing well!
