Good morning all. Thanks for the words of encouragement ladies. I do appreciate it.

Becki, the appointment yesterday was good. Really all they do is ask if you're ok and have any questions, and then listen to the heartbeat, but I listen to that regularly at home, so.... It sounds like your appointment went well. I passed the GTT also, but that just means I have to do the darned thing again at 28 weeks. Yuck!

I did get to schedule a level II U/S. It will be on June 18th. I am really excited about that.

Kerrie, that sounds very hopeful. I sure do wish the best for you.

Kattie, sounds like you need some adult time. Go for it!

Andrea-doo! that's awesome. you lucky ducky! i'm waiting for a bit-- got some weight to lose and other things to do first. i'm so glad you're on your way. you have to keep me updated!

Mary! how have things been going with you? Busy at the shop during prom month, I would imagine! you've got to catch me up. email me, gal!!

Kerrie, when are you planning for? we've talked about April for DH's b-day. when are you planning for? I know i missed some stuff-- i thought the plan had moved up for you--did something set you back? I hope not--unless it's for a better plan! you gotta email me too. other than when you finally figured out who i was on my space, i haven't had much chance to catch up with you either!

Tanya, you got photobucket or something? that way, you can post us links and we can keep up. you can also make the slideshows. i can't wait to see my little niece growing! she's our lucky charm! two outta three of my girls were milk-intolerant too. they had to have soy formula or i had to duck projectile "spit-ups" fast. i'd laugh my behind off when it hit the ex-hubby though...rotflmbo. It missed me but mom and her sisters you did NOT want to be around when they had milkshakes! my oldest still has to drink 1% and watch the intake, but she's worked around it. maybe it's why you don't drink much.

Anita, OMG you've had a rough patch. I know when things go wrong with the family, it can break your heart and make your nerves like grated cheese. I had a rough couple of months myself with the ex. the youngest and oldest just went to visit with him yesterday for a couple of hours for the first time in months and it's such a relief, but scary too (lots of drama and too long a story). Just to let you know, you aren't the only one who's been "down in the hole" and feeling so low. you'll make it out... have a good cry and a few days to get the wind back in your sails! ((((ANITA)))

Becki, congrats! OMG when is your due date??!!! I'm so happy to hear that you got a sticky BFP (sorry so late)! You've got to email us some U/S pics or something!

my weekend was pretty non-chalant. we cooked out a couple of nights, had brother and the family over for one. the ex came to talk to the girls. there was a huge incident that had them not going to see him. they went for a couple of hours yesterday and hopefully things are on the mend. those two have been so depressed and cranky since all of this started. dh and i are working and taking trips to branson with them when we can. we got season passes to SDC, celebration city and white water so we could have our first real vacation in forever. we've gone quite a few times this year already. i think we're going to have to have an adult vacation soon though. i feel like i have a roommate instead of a hubby.

Jo, where are you at?! I need to catch up with you too!!!

hugs and blessings

Hey everybody!

Our weekend was busy as usual - I was down all day Saturday with one of my migraines - I hate losing days like that especially Saturdays. I also missed DS's baseball game where he had one of his best hits ever and they actually won.
Sunday was church and then other DS's birthday party and then church again in the pm with friends over after that. Yesterday we just had a quiet day until friends came over to grill.

An awesome friend emailed me some info about another kind of financing or really financial help that an IVF clinic does based on your income level. She's mailing me the packet, so I'm anxious to see what that is all about. It would involve some travel but really no farther than CH was.

I can't wait for school to be out - these end of the year projects and finals are killing me - I feel like I am in 11th, 7th, 6th and 5th grades all over again!!

Anita - I'm sorry your having a tough time. I have two aquariums with fish and I hate losing them too. We also have a family cat - and losing him would be horrid. He's like part of the family...I dread that day...

That is so sad about your dd's friend. How tragic and young!

I can tell she's getting bigger - those cheeks are getting full! LOL! We are back on Similac Sensitive - it's lactose-free - and it really seems to be agreeing with her. Both my other two were on Lactofree from Enfamil so I guess I just have lactose-intolerant kiddos! Since I don't drink milk...I guess that explains a lot. [Smile]

Hi girls.

Andrea, sorry about the delay.

Tanya, please don't restrain yourself.

Jo, glad your guests are gone.

Mary, hope you had fun at the zoo.

It's been a rough few days for me. Don't laugh. I had this fish, a pleco, which is an algae eater, and he was huge, and so cool, and I loved watching him. He died. We had to have my oldest cat put to sleep. She was 22. I feel so absolutely terrible for having to make that decision. Then last evening, my DD17 discovered on MySpace that a guy she has gone out with a few times, died on his birthday, the 17th. He had called and tried to schedule a date w/ her, but she was out of town that weekend. She was trying to get in touch w/ him for this weekend, but he wasn't returning her calls. Now we know why. She told me after the first time they went out that he was the first date she actually ever felt comfortable around, and I know she really liked him. Add to that the fact that I have to argue with the two oldest people in this house to get anything done, and you'll then know why I prefer my hole. LOL I've got a dr appt this afternoon. Maybe I'll feel better when we schedule my U/S.

Have a good day all.

Hey ladies! I have missed a lot.

Tanya, thanks for sending pics. I hadn\'t't gotten into my email in awhile, but luckily got it cleared out a day or two before you sent them! I'm so happy for you!!!

It looks like we've got a bunch of us old timers expecting! I'm so glad to hear that! I tell you... my heart just exploded when I logged in and started catching up on the three pages of this thread.

I feel so guilty about not keeping up. but with my puter gone and work, it's rough keeping up. when i cleared yahoo, i only had 400 msgs a week ago. but i get on my dd's laptop and my other dd's puter should be back soon so i'll have better resources to keep up.

do you gals remember when i said we had pretty much given up on ivf? well, DH had some plans in the works. he's got our fico scores up and we were able to get the resources. i have a consult June 11th at the fertility center. we're thinking springtime so we can secure $$ for the procedure, but pay for the meds out of pocket from savings we have been accruing. that stimulus check is going to cover about half so no worries there either. we're going to continue to add so we can pay the loan down faster after we've bought meds and gotten pg (crossing fingers).

I sure have missed you guys. after seeing that we had a new addition to our group and that i was an aunt and soon to have a few more nieces/nephews, i knew i just had to get on and do some typing. i'm going to start fertility friend up again and i'll post my link if you all are interested.

you don't know how much i have missed you ladies! I'm going to have to "commandeer" DD's laptop permanently so i don't miss the good news. *crawling out of her hole for good*

I sure love you gals!
