They will still do it. They will make you as comfortable as they can. They let you wear a pad to the OR and then you must remove it when you go to lay on the table. They give you something to put under you for the time you are in surgery from what I have heard. I wish you all the best.

I was on my second day the morning of surgery and everything continued as it normally would have if I had not have had surgery. I did not notice any difference until the following month.

Mine's way less than it was. I had 9-14 day periods after TL and it was very heavy and clotted sorry TMI, borderline hemoragging every month and now after TR they are a CONSISTANT 5-6 days no clots, and much lighter.... Unbeleivable difference it's completely made my life so much better. I'm not afraid to leave the house on the first couple of days of AF for fear of bleeding through.
I had ultrasounds, hormone tests, you name it and all of it showed everything normal. Well bleeding that much isn't normal and it's not good for anyone! I opted for TR before hysterectomy. It worked. TR fixed it. I think you'll be very happy with the results if you are like I was. Plus I get another chance at a baby so it's good! I don't know why it works, Dr. B doesn't even know but it does... that I do know 100%!
