I use the temping. I take it every morning when I get up. Start a few months before surgery. I am temping this month cause it is our first TTC. My doctor said that if I O as I have been this month than I do not need to chart any more cause I know my body by then. So far my is like clock work in each cycle right on the same day. Miranda

Shannon, I think using the OPK is helpful, especially with the BBT, because sometimes your BBT can fluctuate with illness, timing, getting overheated or cold at night, even where you place it in your mouth. The instructions are pretty clear in the package, but you only need to test on the days around expected ovulation to narrow down the day. Worth a try. I found them at walmart for about $18 for 7 tests, but I'm sure you can find them cheaper online.

Hi All, wow, we really grew overnight!!! Here is my info... Steph, Ross County Ohio, 37 yo, DH 36yo, DD 18 yo, DS 15 yo tl 6/93, tr 5/12/08 lengths 3.5 on each side. Has anyone else had Dr Berger tell them their tubes were tied with an "unknown method"? I wonder if that is because when I had my son, I told him that I wanted them tied, clipped and burnt, and that if I got pregnant accidently, I'd be expecting him to deliver for free :-) Probably shouldnt be smiling about that, but really, considering I wasnt planning on having more kids, it's kinda funny. Dr B found two sets of clips on each side in addition to what ever "unknown method" was also used.
For anyone worried about the cost of preg tests, I got 20 on ebay for $12.50 on ebay including shipping, they were Church & Dwight brand, and can test up to 5 days prior to a missed period, so I can pee away for almost two years without sweating it :-D
I'm not really counting my days and all that, I'm afraid I'll get too focused on that and start stressing over it. Not to say that I wont stress in a couple years if I dont get pregnant, but I'm trying to be chill about it. That said, per Stork.net, I am fertile on 6/14 so you can bet I'll be taking advantage of that :-P
I'm glad we've got our own board started, just wanted to say THANKS for the folks that started it for all the future work it will involve (yep, had to check out the March board to see what was up, and actually, it wasnt the issue I was expecting it to be).

Thank you Carol. I was so worried about that but my doctor said he did not see any problems with them being short. I even made my DH have a SA before I would go for the TR.
ojzmom I loved this, "my sticky bean is just waiting for the right time." I think I will write that down. Miranda

Hello ladies! AF is here for day 2 with a vengeance! I guess the positive thing is that I know I am regular which means O time is accurate too! I had hoped I would be pregnant by cycle 2 but what the heck my sticky bean is just waiting for the right time.

well, i know you tubes are little short, but your age alone is a great benefit. If you didn't have problems getting pregnant with your other two, I bet you'll get a BFP soon. carol

You are more than welcome. At the time I was with my first husband. The doctor did not say no about doing it after meeting him. After that time my life changed a lot. I will be married for 2 years this September to a great man. Who really wants a chance at a child of his own. Here I know a lot of ladies who get theirs done in their early 20's. After seeing how my life changed and how much better I feel after the TR I am sad when I hear one talking about getting it done.I wish you all the best as you go down this journey.
