Jenn Don't worry about adding to the subject it was a good question. I hope we see some intersting answers. I know how tiring & trying it is and I too was a young mother and I had thoughts of my own freedom on my mind for when my guys were on their own. God had other plans. I agreed to 1 but not 2, but now I'm no longer working a my DH really doesn't want me to work any longer (I'm a cake decorator and have my own biz) It was a busy season and wiped me out with the baby. Since I'm not going to be doing anything else I may as well try for a girl, but I'll probably get boy #4 which is okay. We're going to try in Jan. so they'll be close to 2 yrs apart. I'm planning to get another TL after the #2 because I can't do BC and even though I may think I'd like more I don't want more. I love kids and always wanted 6 but I was young and ambitious then. Maybe I'll get a double batch with the next one. haha.

Jenn - I wonder the same thing! I am 40 going on 41 and I am drained keeping up with the three I have. I really wish I hadn't m/c back in 2006 and already had TR baby#2. Honestly, the thought of being pregnant and then keeping up with a toddler in my 40's is daunting! God has a plan for us all and I know that he won't give me more than I can handle. If I am not meant to have another, then at least I am blessed with one.

I'm so tired with TR baby #1 I'm not sure there will be a #2! Seriously, how do you ladies do it? I'm feeling so much older with this one (I'm 34 but had my first two at 18 & 20) that I can't imagine having another baby right now. Of course, Lydia is only 7 1/2 months old and I'm working full time...
How many TR babies are people planning on having total? (Sorry, didn't mean to highjack the topic - just curious).

Lets see...TR 05/04..1st bfp took 19 cycles (ended in m/c), 2nd bfp took 3 cycles (ended in e/p) and 3rd bfp (1st TR baby) took 9 cycles. I am not breastfeeding nor taking b/c (not actively trying), so its been 9 cycles so far. I turned 39 this year.

Thanks for the encouragemnet Jo Ann. I am 8 months after tR and I am feeling like I will never conceive. I am only 35 but I was feeling much older. My doctor said that it may take me a little while to conceive because my hormones are VERY out of balance.... She doubts that I am even Oing. BUT she said that I do have a healthy supply of eggs and she and I are working on the hormone issue, so there still is some hope. She said that as soon as I get my adrenal gland to behave I should start Oing like clock work... ***SIGH*** it "sounds" easy BUT she wants to go the all natural way...which meand a VERY strict diet and loads of exercise. She actually thinks that my issue is a very strong food allergy that is causing my adrenal gland to mishandle it's sugar...OH well, we'll see. She is hopeful..LOL

Gwen - it took me 15 cycles to get my first BFP. I then had my TR son and waited 18 months to begin TTC again in case it happened quickly the second time. Actually it only took 4 cycles to see another BFP, but it ended one week later with a m/c. Then another 21 cycles past before seeing another BFP, but this time it was a suspected ectopic and I had my right tube removed. According to an hsg my right tube had supposedly been blocked the whole time. Both other times I had O'ed from my left (good) side. So the fact that a "blocked" tube caused an e/p did make sense after the fact. So, I guess my length of time could also be due to the fact that I am trying with only one tube and have from the start.
The e/p was in March. The tube was removed in May. So, I have had 3 cycles since and am still TTC TR baby#2.

After two reversals, I am pregnant with my first TR baby. I am due in december to have a baby girl. Things are going great. I will be 40 next month...At this point we are open to the Lord's filling our quiver at his promtpting. We hope to have at least 2 more. It took me five months after my second reversal to get pregnant. We have three kids together already, fourth and on the way and can't wait for more.

This is such encouraging news to hear this info. I had my TR and I'm hoping and praying to have TR baby # 1 soon. I am 39 yrs old and my DB is 46 yrs. I have two other children from my first relationship and didn't have a pproblem then so I'm hoping concieving now after TR wouldn't be a problem either. Thanks for such encouraging info posted. this gives me a great sense of hopefulness.
