Hi, my name is Marie and I'm 33 yo. I'm a new member and just had a question. I'm hoping maybe to be able to get some insight on tubal reversal for the treatment of post tubal syndrome. Since my TL 4 years ago I have had terrible side effects. Mostly severe mood swings, bloating and cramping that starts about 2 weeks before my period, but I'm also having difficulty sleeping, night sweats and my hair is falling out by the handfuls. There are actually times when I have missed work because I've experianced such crushing fatigue I wasn't able to get out of bed. I have seen several doctors and the best I can get are BC and anti depressants. I've been told nothing is wrong with me except I'm to stressed and these problems happen with age.
I never had a single cramp or anything remotely close to PMS before I had TL. Now I feel like my body is decaying alittle everyday. I can barely function sometimes.
I'm considering TR and am looking into financing it at this time. My question is how effective is TR for my symptoms? I don't know where else to turn. I just know that I can't live this way the rest of my life. My husband says he wants his wife back. The woman he married and I want that to. I wasn't told of any side effects from TL when I opted to have it done. It was the biggest mistake I ever made.
So I'm sorry this is so long. If anyone can tell me anything I would really appreciate it.
Your situation sounds very familiar. I wasn't a single mom but I might as well have been with my 2 boys. I am now in the process of getting married this summer to someone I met that has children of his own but agrees there is no such thing as too many. We both love kids and hope that by this time next year we will be on our way to another one. Good luck with yours and we might wind up at the same time. I am also looking at October-November to schedule mine.

I received an email this afternoon. Everything looks good. I just got the word from my husband. He's just got the approval for a large contract gig - we're using part of the money from that for the surgery so it's official!
I'm very excited and hope to schedule surgery in the next 2-4 weeks for some time in October.
Thank you to everyone else for your warm words of welcome. It is so nice to hear about other women in similar situations.
For those of you in WA, and elsewhere that would like to chat more, my email is jennifer@wildsky.com. I'll definitely touch base with those of you that posted your email.

ME 32 DH 31 DD 14 DS 12 TL 1996 TR April 25, 2005 ( can't wait )
I'm a new member to the message board and wanted to start getting invovled. So, I thought the best way to do that is to post and introduce myself.
I'm 31 years old, had my TL 10 years ago after having my second child. I was a single mom until last year when I married the world's most wonderful man. I never thought I would want another child but it is suprising what finding the right person will change in your life.
We've been together almost 4 years and in the last couple of months made the final decision to get pregnant. Of course, we can't just do it the old fashion way...
We're hoping to have the funds together and have the TR in or around October, 2005, which would be our 1 year wedding anniversary. I'm excited and now that the final decision has been made find it hard to wait.
Last night we went and looked a baby stuff. Never having had kids my husband was curious and I enjoyed showing him all there is to having a baby. He was a bit suprised at just how much stuff the little ones need.
That of course made us both more anxious to get started! I really can't wait to get started. I sent in my post-op report from my TL to Dr. Berger yesterday and am waiting to hear what he has to say. I was young when I had my TL (still am) and hopeful that we will be able to get pregnant.
I did have one question. I've spend DAYS reading through all the postings and am hoping that some one can explain all the abbreviations. Some I've been able to figure out for myself - others are a mystery.
