Linda, I was a little scared too. I don't like being put to sleep. But everyone was so wonderful I felt really at ease on the day of surgery. I was lucky enough to be the first one to go and I was back in my hotel room at 10:30. They will take very good care of you!

Linda--Congratulations to you and your husband for being such good savers. This must be something that is very important to you. It is normal to be anxious about surgery and going to sleep. I would suggest that you continue to read this website and educate yourself as much as possible about the TR procedure. The more you know the better you will feel. Also this message board is a great place to ask questions and get the support you need. Also feel free to email any of the staff here for answers to specific questions. The addresses are listed under the "Contact Us" heading on the home page. Sally, RN CHSC

Linda there is nothing to be scared about. It may sound scarry hearing "put to sleep" but actually when you wake up you want even know it has already been done its like a quick nap.As long as you healthy and all you will be fine.Even if you have health conditions Dr Berger knows what to do and if he thinks you not well enough for this he will not do it.I am 32 and so far I have been put to sleep 6 or more times for different surgeries.Never had a problem and felt like I just went to bed and went to sleep.Don't worry you will be fine and think about it...It is well worth it to bring a darling baby in the world. If you don't mind me asking...How old are you? Crystal
P.S. Since November of last year till now I have been put to sleep 5 times.Done well.It is like it never happened.Don't worry you will be just fine.

Linda..I was the biggest scaredy cat ever! Even up until the day,,but then my Faith kicked in and I knew i would be fine, and that this was something that my heart desired..Fear is soo ugly and it is not from God, thats what I had to keep telling myself..I wish you the best and it truely is a wonderful clean well decorated office, ya know some of the things us girls look for..:)The nurses and Dr.Berger are truely blessed...follow your heart.. God Bless sara
I too just have my Tr done March 9th- It was hard seeing all that money that you could use for other things- But the money will always come and go but the chance to have another child is something I have wanted for sometime and to be given that chance once again. Dr. Berger and his staff were amazing! You could not get a more caring and understanding doctor then him. He will take wonderful care of you as will his staff. The whole being put ot sleep thing- you know yo go in there and start breathing the oxygen- I think I took three deep breaths and next thing I knew they were waking me up and it was over! I felt fine and now 4 days pass I feel great! I say go for it! You will not regret your choice. I know I don't.
