Hello Everyone! I'm new here. I'm interested in getting my T R. I have had nothing but problems with my tubal ligation. I never wanted to get it in the first place. It's something I have regretted for the last 5 years. I'm in a new relationship now but I would like to possibly have a family with him in the future. but most importantly feel like a whole woman again. After reading a lot of the messages on the board I realized I was right this whole time about illnesses and other things affecting me being related to the ligation.

We are all so excited to TTC after surgery, it is hard to wait. But, your tubes are probably still swollen from the surgery and EP is more likely. I hope I can wait, but I can't make any promises.

I have been wanting to have a TR for about 5 years now. I have 2 boys from a previous relationship and my husband has no children (well, he claims mine and treats them as his) I have talked about TR for years and my husband would never seem interested and then sometimes he would and I would get so frustrated with him thinking he just didn't want kids with me. He finally started coming aorund and told me that he was scared and that he wanted to get financially stable before we had the surgery and tried to bring a new baby into the home. So, now I am closer than ever and our intentions are to schedule in March or April this year. I am working on my weight loss now as I have to lose 20lbs to be under BMI for surgery. I know I can do it within the next 3-4 months and I am trying hard so I can have my TR and start TTC!!!!
I have been waiting for over a year now for my TR. It is still not a done deal, but things are looking better for me. My husband withdrew $4000 from his 401K for me to have the surgery. I'm like you...I have things that need to be put in order before I schedule..but I still hope to do it this Spring. I, too, will be starting back in my classes. Mine start February 23rd. I am working on my Doctorate in Education. I teach now, but want to go in to administration. Keep in touch, Cora

Lots of luck and smooth sailing with plenty of babydust after. My classes start back up on the 23rd of this month so at least Ill have my mind occupied for a little while as I wait for next Feb to roll around(thats when Im planning on the TR). My DH and I think that is when the time will be right...I have to lose weight and we need to get some affairs in order before I will have the funds for the surgery. I will be praying for you and keeping my fingers crossed. Ill watch for you to cross over....

Patiently Waiting~ I know what you mean...PTLS is cruel. I had said before that my husband keeps mentioning "how I used to be"...but I always strugged it off to him just being a man and us evolving. But, after hearing all the stories from other women, I am beginning to believe that I am suffering from it as well!!! I hope for a smooth surgery with lots of luck in March/April. I wish you all the best, too. Cora

You can get the info as you can...they have had my operative report for months now and I haven't even scheduled my appointment yet. You can go to the doctor's office or stop by the hospital. It was easier for me to drop in the hospital and pick up the record. I then faxed it myself to CH. Cora

They just make you sign a paper when they release them to you. And questions are fine they help you understand what is going on. If you never ask how will you ever know is what I tell my kids. I have been working on getting a TR for over 2 years now.Oh if your husband does not have and children he may want to ge a SA to find out if he can having any before you go for the TR. My husband had one done and is fine. Miranda Any more ?'s just post them.
