Im waiting on papers from HOSPITAL to arrive.. with tubal info.. then im planing on sending (FAX) them to DR, for review.. Im over by lake Michigan but we are looking to move out of state (tennesse) with in 6 months cause of JOBS over this way are scarce, and closer to Dr. Bergers office... I know their might be some issues with me.. from what i understood from old DR. one of my overies is on top of my uterus and not off to the side where it should be?? what ever that means, tht is why i want to see the papers then fax them, to Dr Berger.. the PTLS symptoms are the worst.. Im just wanting to get better.. if not completely. a little better will be better than I feel right now, a terriable headache and overy cramping right now..

JennyH You sound EXACTLY like me. I live in Michigan also. And I was easy going until my TL. Within a year after the TL I was diagnosed as Manic Depressive for almost 3 years. Then the fourth year I was diagnosed as BIPolar II. I was on mood stabilizers and anxiety meds for a year before my TR. I have to say that during that year I was feeling a bit better, except when AF was due. When I decided to have the TR, I went off all my meds (DR monitored) because they cause birth defects, etc. I've been totally off all my meds for almost a year and I am doing fine. Somedays it's hard. But I can say, not nearly as hard as it was before the TR. I feel more normal now. More in control. Not depressed. Any which way it was a great decision. Hey neighbor... I am from wisconsin.... I just wanted to say I have ZERO regrets about getting my Tubal Reversal in Jan 08'... Even if I never get pregnant (though I am doing a HPT test next week) the improvement in my PTLS is worth the cost TIMES 100.. I am feeling SOOOO much better! I have less rage, more love, I feel more "womanly", my sex drive has improved, I no longer have terrible mood swings, basically my HOPE has returned!!!

I so know all to well of what you are saying I had never heard of PTLS until I started looking into having my TR NOW I KNOW I HAVE IT.. Its unreal I have had my TL for 13 years this coming Wed and I go for my TR on this Thursday talk about excited not even the word...I truly hope you can get your TR and get back to being your old self again I know now how much has been taken from me and my children and my DH.. As far as another child if that happens then thats def God's wish but one thing I know is I will hopefuly feel back to my old self..I have been waiting for this now 4 years and only 5 days away..I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and keep you posted on my outcome..Take Care Donna PS I really believe the dr's are never going to admit to a TL causing all of these problems but I got sick and tired of being told I was crazy so I think this is a medical war we all need to fight together

Well my TL was in May of 03 Right after the birth of my youngest.. Im 34yr old now and since then Ive had lower abdominal pain which a ultra sound (showed nothing), depressed(told PPD due to child birth) then My Dr (who performed surgery) retired and was told I have Manic depression (put me on antidepressiants told me to seek and phycologist), heavy, painful periods (tampon and pad soked), cramping, Headaches, trouble sleeping (hot flashes), anger, memory problem, DR wanted me on Birth control, pain during sex (uterus pain, still cant find anything wrong), vaginal dryness but told its all in my head..
Now Drs are saying its Posibly BIPOLAR?? my guess is anything as long as they dont admit its from the TL..
I was a happy and very different person until my TL.. If I would have known then what i know NOW I would have NEVER HAD IT DONE.. I am very much wanting it reversed.. not for MORE kids right now, but maybe in future.. I JUST want to be myself again, and to be HAPPY!!
Drs say take this, that not working take that., Talk to a psychologist (tell me whats done is done now Live with it, especially if you really not sure you want more kids, I do huby dont cause of everything been going on with me the realtionship has iffy lately )
DR who perform TL need to be honest and up front when they offer the Tubal as a BirthControl method (nowhere in my phamplet did it say the side effects, or possible side effects I have...
I regret having it done everyday.. I want to save the money and have it reversed, in hopes I will get better
