Congratulations ! ! ! ! I wondered also how soon after you can try. I believe I read on here (there is sooooo much information) that it is recommended you go through one menstrual cycle before trying to conceive for the first time. I wish you all the best and can't wait for the day I can (finally) say I DID IT ... lol

In-Gods Hands Good Luck with your surgery. Try not to be nervous, however I was. I'm so glad now we just have to do the BD and hope for a BFP. This is our first month so we'll see.

Nytesong, when I quit caffine, I just switched everything to decaf including coffee. There is still trace amounts in coffee, but not so much to cause any problems. I seriously can't tell the difference in my tea or coffee! And I actually am feeling better since quiting the caffine and artifical sweetners.
Good Luck, it is really hard at first. I realize it is a form of addiction, because I still sometimes want it!!LOL

Would Centrum complete for women work just as good, or would you just recommend prenatal vitamins..

BFP= big fat positive
TTC= trying to conceive

Yes it is a great idea to start taking them ahead of time. This prepares your body for if you do get that BFP and makes sure you are healthy and ready for the TR. You will need blood work done before you can have the TR and the pills help with making sure your iron and everything will be fine as well.

You are more than welcome to come over to the waiting room part 48 now ad chat with all the lady's in waiting. My TR is in 6 days. I can not believe it. Wish you all the best. Miranda

Hello ladies,
I am new to the board and hoping to under go the TR with Dr. B. I have not schedule as of yet because I want to send my operative report to see if I am a good candidate for the procedure. I have been reading different post and I have to say the love and support has touch my heart. I do have a question thou what do BFP and TTC mean?Also I want to make sure that my understanding is right. Are you saying that it is good to start taking prenatal vitamins before the TR surgery? Please if anyone answer these two questions for me. Also good luck on having the babies!!!

I have noted that it seems that many ob's in NC are ok with the TR. Mine even pointed me to 3 doctors and talked about which would be best. So here I am. TR is in 9 days. I am so excited. Even my family doctor here is on my side. He did all my blood work that was needed before the TR. I wish you all the best. Miranda

Permacare prenatals are what the military doc gives me.he wanted me start taking them now. If thats any help. They are huge purple prenatals but they will sure make your hair grow and nails thats for sure. They upset my belly a little though.
