Kendra, I had the triple burn plus clips and I still came out with 5.5 and 6. We considered doing the lap since my records showed both triple burn and clips, but in the end we opted to just go for the surgery... It worked out well for us. Good luck, Bonnie

Kendra, The tubal length after burning can vary, which is one of the reasons Dr Berger offers a "screening laparoscopy" package. The laparoscopy is done first so that Dr Berger may look through a belly button incision at the remaining lengths of your tubes. If your tubes are repairable, we would then proceed with your tubal reversal. Many patients chose this package. I hope this helps,

Lori, I'm just curious, how much tube was removed? I had the same procedure and then on my pathology report it stated that I had 2.5 cm removed and Dr. B's office sent me an email that they think I should have good length left. I'm just curious is all because I am scheduled for July 24th. I'm very excited at the idea of (hopefully) having a baby next summer!!
my stats:
me 32 (33 this June) DH 33 DS 16 DD 11 DD 8 DSD 13 DSD 13 TL 06/14/99 TR 07/24/08 wish me luck, long tubes and baby dust!

I had my TR 2-06. In 1999 I had a modified polmaroy. I believe they were also cut, tied and burned. I ended up with 7cm on the left and 5.5cm on the r. I am now 30 weeks prenant with a little girl. Good luck. Lori

I believe the operative report said it was burned in two consecutive places, but I don't recall if there was a length listed. Sorry. But I am also older, I'm 40 now, was 38 at the time of the TR, 39 when I got pregnant and had the baby. We just started trying for baby #2.
