Hello Hoping4another I also have fibroids and and I found out that I had them after I had my fifth child because I had very heavy periods and it would last for about 2 weeks. I went to my ob 2 moths ago and she did a pelvic u/s and she said that they are still there but they haven't grow that much and she said that its nothing that I should be concerned about, I also had a cyst that I didn't even know that I had until it ruptured on its own because I was in so much pain that I went to see my ob and he told me that I had a cyst that rupture and I was ovulating and he showed it to me in the u/s I didn't understand what I was looking at but he was right because a couple of weeks later I found out I was pregnant! Well I hope this help!I'm 31yrs old mother of 6!

I had fibroid with my last son. I actually didn't find out about it until I went in for my ultrasound at 18 weeks and the fibroid was as big as him. It disappeared on its own after he was born. Cysts can dissolve on their own as well. Just make sure your doc keeps an eye on it, and like Stephanie said, she should be able to tell you if it would interfere or not.
People get pregnant with fibroids everyday. Try not to worry :0) As Andie said it really depends on the location of the fibroid. I would ask to speak with your doctor. He or she should be able to look at the ultrasound pictures and tell you if they think it would interfere with TTC.

I do - fibroids can make conceiving more difficult but not impossible - depending on their location and where the egg wants to implant. I had my TR 10/3/05 and gave birth to my TR baby on 11/20/07.

I had my tubal reversal done on March 18th 2008, it all went great... I was having some pain in my right pelvic area and so went to my OBGYN and she sent me of a pelvic ultrasound. They found fibroids in my uterus and a cyst on my right ovary. Anyone have this problem? Im 32 years old and mother of 3.
