I have a girlfriend who had been experiencing the same pain...her pain meds were not helping. They told her she needed a hysterectomy.. she followed through with it at 32 years old. Here it is 2 months later and no uterus and she still has the pain with her cycle. Soooo bad she can't walk or even stand up straight. They will not take her ovaries...which is probably for the best, but told her sorry you'll have to deal with this pain every month....so don't think just because they offer a hysterectomy that it will do any good anyway!!! More problems come with a hysterectomy than with a TR

I was the same way when I had my tubes tied. Now that I have had my TR done I have no cramping at all. I use to be on pain pills and sometimes end up in er too. I know what you are talking about. I can say I do not have any cramps now and I feel alot better. You can get the TR done and take birth control if you don't want any kids. good luck to you I wish you the best

I can fully understand your feelings here. After my divorce I can not get a loan and with being in college does not help. We live as they say from pay day to pay day. My insurance does not cover an TR either. It took us a little over 3 years to get the TR. Do not give up hope. As I like to say(nothing worth having in this world comes easy). Hang in there and save and you will get the TR you want. Miranda

The same happened to me after TL. I too had two c s proir and was fine. As soon as i had my tl AF was awful. The same cramping down the hips and legs. My co worker had the same problems since her TL 10 years before, and My sister just had her TL 3 minths ago, and hers had started too. I had no idea that there were so many women this happens too. I had my TR 7-1-08 and have not had my AF yet, but i will let you know how it was. I am soo releived to hear that TR may help this. I had no idea until I joined this message board! Thank you

First off welcome to the board. Now I too hurt after my TL, but not as bad as what you are saying. But maybe that is because I can take a lot of pain. I had 2 c-sections with out pain meds. My AF became more painful after the TL. I too was tested for all things that could be making my hips and legs hurt like they were. There was nothing wrong. I had my TR on 3/24/08 and I can say I do not need pain meds like I use to. I use to take pills everyday for the pain. After the TR my AF are easier on me and my hips/legs hurt nothing like they did before. I wish you the best and hope you find a fix to your pain.I can not tell you what to do. All I can say is what I have been through. Miranda
