I purchased a series of Pilates videos a few years back and when I've done just 15 minutes a day, I actually can tell a difference in how my clothes fit in 2 weeks. I know it may sound like I'm trying to sell them but, really it's amazing. Basically I figure whatever works for you... go for it! I find I'm more likely to do a workout at home than anywhere else... I don't like gyms, and in the northwest the weather is pretty unpredictable! Also, find something in your day that you enjoy and do anyway, and resolve not to do it until you've done your exercise. Just think about how much better prepared your body will be for pregnancy, as well as TTC! Mindy

Mindy I am not overweight but it would not hurt me to start really walking or something. I have thought about taking Yoga but not sure. We moved to a new house and there is a walking track right across from our house. After reading your post I have realized that instead of thinking it, talking about it, I need to get over there and walk. Thank you for the encouragement. I really liked reading your post. Dear Mindy, What great encouragement for others. It is amazing what a little exercise and water can do for people. Keep us the hard work and I look forward to meeting you soon. Rhonda

Hey girls! Just wanted to give a quick word of encouragement to those desiring (or needing) to lose weight or just get back in shape. I battle with adrenal exhaustion as well as many other PTLS symptoms, migrain, etc, and it's just plain hard to be motivated to exercise. But I'm scheduled 8/29/08 for TR and realized the other day that to get PG in the shape I'm in (I'm not overweight, just very weak) would be exteremely difficult. I've worked out 3 days in a row and feel great! Don't hit it hard, just do a little a day and soon enough you'll feel and see some results. Even if it's just a 5 minute walk to start, it may be better than what you're doing right now! Blessings to all with TR, TTC and getting rid of PTLS! Mindy
