hi welcome, I had a triple burn. I haven't had my TR yet but the nurses told me that the damage from that type is minimal. I was so excited to hear that.

Tabiatha---Welcome you have come to the right place. I had my tr on Aug 4, 2008 with Dr. Monteith and it was the best and easiest decision to make in the world. I had bipolar cautery done with 3cm being removed from each tube. I came out with my right tube beign 5.5cm long and my left being 5cm long. GL and I hope you can schedule soon.

Thanks so much for the "good news" I'm probably going to be faxing in my op-report sometime this week...
Hubby & I are so excited and are hoping for good news, we have been talking about a TR since he was in Iraq & have been researching since then....everything always points back to Dr. Berger (i think that's a hint of some kind)
I had the TL done after my 3rd child, Now when I look back I wish I woulda told the ex he could get the "big V" done & I wouldn't be dealin with this now, but here we are.....praying for a miracle.
Thanks again for the positive responses will keep you all up-dated ~Tabiatha
Bipolar Coagulation Bipolar tubal coagulation is the most popular method of laparoscopic female sterilization in the United States. With this method of tubal ligation, the fallopian tube is grasped between two poles of electrical conducting forceps, and electrical current passes through the tube between the two ends of the forceps. Damage to the tube is limited to the segment between the forceps. Often, two or three adjacent sites are coagulated resulting in loss of approximately 2-3 cm of fallopian tube. Bipolar tubal coagulation is a good method of female sterilization for women who decide to have a tubal reversal procedure. Pregnancy rates after reversal of bipolar tubal coagulation are approximately 60%.
Send in your Op report to Dr. berger and he will then let you know if your a good canidate for TR but reading about it sounds like you are girl!!! Good Luck and follow this dream!!!

Hello all, I just wanted to kind of introduce myself
My name is Tabiatha & I'm from Michigan. My husband and I have been together for 6 yrs (married 4). I have 3 children from a previous marriage (s-10, d-8, d-7) I had my TL done in 2001 (got the report the other day & they did bipolar cautery with triple burn technique) and am now looking to have TR done hopefully next March or April. My husband has no children of his own & we cant wait to hopefully make his/our dream of a child together a reality
Has anyone that's had a bipolar cautery with triple-burn technique, had a TR?? just kinda curious on possible chances with this kind of TL.
