Hi Lorie....what part of Georgia are you in? I'm also from Georgia....just 45 minutes south of Warner Robins. I haven't had my TR either...but hoping for spring of 2005. I too am going through signs of PTLS. The information provided on the other thread is more informative than I have read on other sites. Angie

Hi, Danielle. There is another thread on this topic going right now called "Post Tubaligation Syndrome." If you click on it you will find all kinds of information. And, if you go to the search engine at the bottom of the screen you will get other testimonies if you type in Post Tubaligation Syndrome or PTLS.

I've also had terrible periods since my tl in '97. My doc said it was normal. The week before, I am sick to my tummy and you would swear I was pregnant! Hopefully I will be when my TR is done...

Oh I'm sorry AF stands for Aunt Flo and BFP stands for Big Fat Positive. I have not scheduled my surgery because I am still short 2500.00 but hopefully after Christmas I can schedule. I am from Georgia. Lorie

Dear Lori, What is AF and BFP stand for ? I also, get anxiety at times with the cramping. When is your reversal scheduled for ? Let me know how it goes. By the way, I'm from L.I. New York. Danni

Dannielle, I had my TL in 1996 and for years I experienced the same as you. The heavy bleeding has leveled out some but the 2 weeks of PMS is terrible. I hurt so bad before my AF and the nausea is terrible. I am ready for my TR to see if some of this goes away and maybe the only sickness I get is when I get that BFP.

Hi,this is Danni. I'm a new member, looking for your experiences with tubal ligation syndrome. Have you suffered with extreme pms and heavy bleeding after your ligation ? Irregular cycles and emotionally up and down ? I have. If you've suffered from this syndrome and have had a tubal-reversal, have you found relief? If so, how much relief? Please respond.
